Too quiet

by Pumpkin on February 13, 2011

Yesterday, my children went with my In-Laws to France where they will stay for a week during their school vacation. It is nice to have them off having fun during a week that I know will be stressful for Vilay and I. I am starting my first week at my new job, we need to find a second car and I am looking for babysitters for a few half days that the daycare couldn’t cover. It will all come together one way or another. I am sure.

In the meantime…It is quiet here.
Too quiet.

I miss them already.

Below is a photo of St. John of Nepomuk, the patron saint of all bridges. I think it is appropriate to have him in this post as we are passing another bridge in our life.

Great, if your children can have fun with your husband’s family. It’ll let you focus on your first steps soon… :o) ! Will you work full time ? Is your job not so far away from home ? Sorry for the “invasive” questions…

Good luck for the coming days ! Enjoy your new position. You’re still a mother and a wife, you’lle be a wonderful employee also !

Hi Pumpkin,

hope you are enjoying your new job and settling into a new routine. It’s a huge change for everyone in the family when Mom all over sudden has a (paid) job :)).
