Swimming

It was good and hot today.
Perfect for swimming.
We took the train to Neuchâtel where there happens to be a free outdoor pool.
I don’t have a swimming suit but I still sat on the edge of the pool watching everyone else have a blast.
I really need to buy a swimming suit even if I hate the way I look in one.  I am sure I look about the same as most other women but I still hate wearing one.

We are still adjusting to the three kids going to school. Last week…Well, it just flew right by me.

Here are some of the pics I took from today.

Train ride to the city.

Vilay took a photo of a soccer goal inside the urinal of the men’s restroom. He told me that he made a goal. Boys never grow up!

They really loved the pool.

The lake.

Some pigeons on a roof.

My son at the playground after swimming. Make sure you check out his feet.

He put his shoes on in a hurry because he was excited to go swimming. He put a sandal on one foot and a tennis shoe on the other. I didn’t see it until we were at the train station with only two minutes until the train came. We decided that it was no big deal if he spent the day with unmatched shoes. We were right. I have to admit that I went to work at the bank once with one blue shoe and one black shoe. It wouldn’t have been so bad but the shoes didn’t look at all alike!!!

I hope everyone had a good weekend and that Monday is kind to you.

A super day out, what a lovely place to go. I do not like myself in a swimming costume either but bought one for the trip I took to Montreal as my cousin had a pool in their garden :-) ..

Ah so cute about your son, he doesn’t seem to mind about his odd shoes ..

I hope that you have a good week, I am off to France tomorrow .. for a break . take care. I will still be looking at the internet, and reading my favourite blogs :-)

That’s so funny about the shoes! It seem like, like mother like son. Lol. Even with different shoes on, he is still such a cuttie…

He is my little cutie. He was not a happy boy when he first realized his mistake but after about an hour he didn’t care! lol
